Meet Julia

Hello and a very warm welcome to my private practice at 222 Therapy, LLC. I'm so glad you made it here! The search for help when you need it the most can feel overwhelming, and I want you to know I'm here to help make things as easy as possible. I specialize in therapy for children, teens, and parents/caregivers who are experiencing issues with family stress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, stress within social groups, social media addiction, bullying, lgbtgia+ issues, gender identity, social justice issues or other life stressors.

Is your child or teen acting more depressed, isolated, anxious or angry? Are you worried about their grades or motivation levels? Has their communication with you slowed or shut down entirely? Do they need someone to talk with to help them open up? Are you exhausted as a parent/caregiver and just need some emotional support for yourself? Could you use some parenting tips? Being a parent/caregiver is one of the most challenging (and potentially rewarding) jobs you will ever do, but it does 'take a village' sometimes, and I'm here to help with over 20 years of experience working with children and families from a wide variety of backgrounds.
